I am having to sell of some of my most prized guitars to pay some bills. I really don't want to sell this one but thats life I guess. The most amazing guitar to play on stage. It is a Japanese Washburn SBF80 CS (Cherry Sunburst) acoustic sounding electric playing guitar with a beautiful neck and electric feel. Sort of Les Paul shaped with an acoustic pickup in the bridge and active electronics with volume/bass/treble tone controls. You get the best acoustic sound ever with no feedback. Also if you want to overdrive your amp or put it through any effects it sounds just like an electric so extremely versatile. It's a vintage 80's guitar which I have used live on many occasions so does have a couple of marks on it, but you have to look for them to be honest so nothing serious. Check out the extra photos below. The most stunning tiger stripe maple top , on a mahogany body just like a Gibson Les Paul with a Cherry Sunburst finish, just so lush to be seen with. Has the original sticker on the back of the body showing the model number which is SBF-80 FCS. the serial number is also on the back of the headstock to prove its authenticity. The neck is in superb shape with no fret wear and no twists or bumps, a real dream to play. I am leaving a FREE set of excellent quality straplocks on it too so you don't drop this beauty. I'm having to keep the case I used for this guitar unfortunately as it's my old 335 case. Superb set of chrome Grover machine heads fitted, (these were an upgrade I have just been informed, as they came with Japanese Grover style machines as standard) which is in keeping with the build quality of this professional instrument. If you are bidding outside of the UK you will have to buy a case for it on top of the cost of the guitar as the shipping companies will not ship any instruments without one. I can help out there if necessary and see if I can find one for you at a couple of local music shops, but it does depend on wht they have in stock.
