Description Up for auction is this 2009 Taylor 714ce-LTD. It features: Madagascar rosewood back/sides Sitka spruce top Grand Auditorium body style 9v Expression System electronics Abalone rosette Madagascar rosewood backstrap Ebony bridge and fretboard Gold-plated Taylor tuners Wow, what a ridiculously nice Taylor. When you hear Madagascar rosewood compared to Brazilian, this guitar will show you why. The bass and midrange have that bell-like ringing quality that you get from a nice piece of Brazilian. This guitar's bass response is surprisingly thumpy, but it's rounded out by Taylor's signature high-end sparkle. It's a very rich and chocolately tone. The playability is superb - it's fast and low. Comes with original hardshell case. Cosmetically, this guitar has three small dings on the body - two of which are pictured below. I couldn't get a photo of the third, but it's just as small as the other two.
