It features: Tropical American mahogany back/sides Western red cedar top Grand Auditorium body style Expression System electronics Indian rosewood binding Hawaiian koa rosette Gold-plated Taylor tuners Ebony bridge and fretboard Here's a great deal on a wonderful Taylor 514ce. These mahogany/cedar guitars are one of the real sweet spots in Taylor's lineup. You get a lot of tone for the money. The mahogany and cedar combine to produce a warm, rich sound with plenty of signature Taylor high-end sparkle. This guitar makes a fingerstyle machine because of the cedar top and GA body style, but it will also handle moderate strumming. It plays like a dream, with snappy fast action. Comes with original hardshell case. Cosmetically, this guitar is in near mint condition. There is a fingernail-sized ding on the top, pictured below, and one or two other much smaller finish indentations.
