For sale is my stunningly incredible 2006 Martin J41 Special acoustic guitar. Absolutely flawless collector condition. This is a much sought after Martin J size body of solid Indian Rosewood sides and back and an extremely resonate Sitka Spruce top. Special scalloped top braces and X brace advanced to 1" below the soundhole. Abalone binding adorns the front edges of the guitar and soundhole rosette. Ivoroid binding, tortoise pickguard, aging toner on top. Modified V-shaped neck, bound ebony fretboard (25.4" scale, 1 3/4" nut) with 45-style snowflake inlays, ebony bridge with long (drop-in) vintage style saddle, gold butterbean tuning gears. Geib style wooden hardshell case. The tone is of full base, clear midrange with a sustaining treble top end. An incredible collectors guitar that was made for only a few years in limited edition. This guitar has rarely been out of the case. Kept in a climate controlled, non-smoking adult home. Thinning out my collection is the ONLY reason I am selling. Original cost was over $5000.00. For additional pictures email me through this posting. Perfect condition. Virtually no fret wear. No marks, no scratches, no belt rash, no dings, no dents...simply perfect.

For auction now is my Martin D-41 acoustic guitar which was made in 2001. If you are reading this, you probably know what these instruments are; if you want more details, you may go to martinguitardotcom. This guitar is in beautiful condition, at least exellent plus. I strive to take good care of my gear. The main dings are seen in picture 10 (small scratch in the top below the B string pin) and picture 11 (end of headstock.) The pictures are very representative and were taken today. The pictures were taken outside so there are lots of reflections seen in the pics, as well as bits of dust here and there. If you have any questions w/r to the guitar's condition, just ask. The guitar plays beautifully........very light and airy when fingerpicking, and very powerful and resonant when flatpicked or strummed. There are no playing issues. I have no micrometer to check the string height, but it does feel exactly right (and I have owned many guitars over the past 30 years.) The guitar comes with OHSC. This is the best acoustic I have ever owned (and most expensive as well.) Being out of work (still) forces the sale of instruments I never meant to sell. These guitars retail for $4999, and the high volume stores sell them for around $3799. Here's a great chance to get a gorgeous guitar at a great price. The fine print Sale is USA only. I will only ship to a USA address. I can not ship to another country. Shipping, etc will be a flat rate $60 to the continental US. If you are in Alaska and Hawaii, you will be charged for shipping only what I have to pay. If you win this auction and are from Alaska or Hawaii, please don't pay until you receive an invoice from me. You may pick up guitar in person, but you still have to pay in advance. No exceptions. Payment is by paypal and checks. If you pay by check, I will ship after the payment clears. If you have less than 10 feedbacks, or 2 or more negative feedbacks, you must email me first to bid. Otherwise, I reserve the privilege to remove your bid. Thanks for your interest and best of luck!

Untitled Document Item Details For your consideration is this vintage 1961 Martin 00-28G nylon-stringed classical acoustic guitar. This particular example, serial number 176330, is in very nice 100% original condition and includes the original hard shell case. This well-preserved Brazilian Rosewood example, is cosmetically stunning, an its simple features remain clean, intact, and attractive. With an exotic arrangement of selected woods and the highly skilled craftsmanship of the C.F. Martin & Co. luthiers, the 00-28G is one of the finest vintage classical guitars, and easily the best vintage gut string guitars made in the United States. With other examples selling for over $4,000.00, be certain to take advantage of this No Reserve auction with FREE Worldwide shipping, as the highest bidder will win... regardless of price! As briefly mentioned, this attractive 00-28G is in very nice all original condition. This no issues example is in perfect structural condition, and is void of cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The combination of Martin's famous guitar-building techniques and the superior quality materials results in a truly unique and fantastic nylon string guitar. The wider nut width is taken into consideration with the refined shape and contour of the neck profile. The action and playability is amazingly comfortable, while the projection and sound-quality is equally as impressive. Perfect for recording, and clearly above adequate for all other practical use, it would be hard to imagine buying a better nylon string guitar for less than $10,000.00. The guitar exhibits very minimal and concentrated playing wear. Aside from the pick wear under the treble side of the soundhole, the only other significant condition flaw appears to be the slight bubbling of the finish around the neck heel, which is typically the result of heat exposure in that particular area. There are several larger-than-life-size photos illustrating this superficial finish damage. Thankfully, whatever caused the finish to react in such a way had zero effect on the wood underneath, and is not an eye sore due to it confining a small area near the neck heel only. Features of this ’61 00-28G include: original nitrocellulose natural finish, even grained spruce top, exemplary Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, original 3-in-a-row open-back Kluson tuning machines and the original Victoria hard case! The neck is perfectly straight, and the neck angle is perfectly intact. Completely opposite from the steel string Martins, which sometimes suffer from poor and unmanageable neck angles, this nylon example retains a beautiful factory neck angle. The original Kluson tuning machines work perfectly, and hold the guitar in tune. The original frets exhibit minimal wear, and do not need to be dressed or replaced, also thanks to the nylon strings and the corresponding innate lighter tension. The bridge is also perfectly intact, with no indication of lifting or bellying. Once again, there are no cracks, breaks, or separations. As mentioned the guitar includes the original case which happens to be in very excellent condition.
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE A TRUE CLASSIC ACOUSTIC GUITAR … 1949 MARTIN 000-18 Call 615-613-1389 for In-hand DescriptionSEE ALL 29 HI-RES PHOTOS BELOW We have the pleasure (again) of offering one of the most desired acoustic guitars of all-time – a beautiful and great-sounding 1949 Martin 000-18. The last one we offered – which sold on eBay for $5,299.00 on Dec. 27, 2011 – had the serial number 111576. In a VERY rare twist of fate, we happened to find another 1949 Martin 000-18 about four weeks ago ... and the serial number on this one is 11575! That's right, this one is the previously made Martin 000-18 from 1949. At first, when we were contacted by its owner, we couldn't believe it. But here it is ... in all its glory. There was quite a bit of interest in the first one, and it didn't last very long. This one is not quite as nice as the first one, but it definitely plays and sounds just as good – if not BETTER – than its slightly older brother. For any Martin acoustic of this vintage, however, there really are no accurate words to describe how clearly the notes jump off the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, or how perfectly balanced the tone projects from the body and sound hole. It’s guitars like this that make us wish there was a way for interested parties to pick it up, hold it in their hands, and strum a few chords on it. Because we promise you that if you buy this and play it, you will own it for the rest of your life. Hell, we’ll guarantee it! We purchased the guitar from the son of its original owner, and he apparently played it quite a bit. After all, don't all great guitars get played? And just like the last one, this is one of those Martins we don’t want to sell. Really. But we have a business to run, kids to feed, and wives to keep happy, so it must go like all the rest of them. Our loss will definitely be someone’s incredible gain … and for many, many more years to come. As we said previously, the condition of this fabulous Martin is not as nice as the one we sold in December. But don't let this point fool you. We're simply being as honest as we can about its condition – which we grade at VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT. This one definitely shows its age, but it's still in pretty nice condition when you consider it is 62 years old!At some point in its life, however, this amazing guitar has had its Brazilian Rosewood bridge reglued, several cracks repaired (all of them clearly visible in the pictures below), the original nut repaired on the high E side, and the bridge pins and saddle have been replaced. There are also what we like to call "vintage beauty marks" throughout the entire guitar. But there is absolutely NOTHING that keeps this Martin from sounding as incredible as it should. All of the bracing inside the guitar is intact, solid and secure. The original Spruce top has aged beautifully to an amazingly golden yellow hue, and the solid Mahogany back and sides show wear but are perfectly stable and unaltered. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and the frets are nothing short of amazing, and the neck is about as straight as they come. The tuners are original and still hold the guitar in perfect tune. As far as we can tell, there are no signs of the guitar ever having had a neck reset. But more importantly, it DOES NOT NEED A NECK RESET! The action, tone and overall playability of this guitar are simply remarkable. As we said before, there are really no words to describe the perfectly balanced sound that emanates from this truly classic Martin. You can strum a simple E chord and it rings for days! Guitars like this classic 1949 Martin 000-18 don’t come around too often. But when they do they don’t tend to last very long. We thought long and hard about selling this guitar or adding it to our permanent collection. But it deserves to be in the hands of a professional player or in a serious collection. Like many vintage Martin acoustics, this one is special. Check out all 29 high-resolution photos below and see for yourself. We promise this Martin is going to make someone very, very happy!
