It has a huge crystal clear dreadnought sound with a great low end and clear highs. The fourteen fret Low Profile neck has super sweet low action and it plays smooth, fast and easy. Even though it has a huge Dreadnought sound which works great for Bluegrass music, the action on the guitar also makes it fun to use as a fingerpicking guitar. The Ebony fingerboard is smooth and very well dressed and really easy to play. The Rosewood on this guitar is exceptionally beautiful and it sounds as good as the very best sounding guitars we have ever had. It has one of the best Solid Spruce tops ever used on a guitar. The classic look of this beautiful Martin is topped off with a black pick guard. This pristine guitar sounds like a guitar that has been aged for years but it was built earlier this year and has been used less than one hour. It is spotless and exactly like new. The Guitar is also equipped with a Fishman Ellipse Blend Electronics System which has a condensor mic as well as an electronic transducer. There are Volume and EQ contols as well as a blender to be able to balance the desired sound between the mic and the transducer. This makes this legendary guitar sound great when it is plugged in, yet is still sounds fabulous unplugged also. This guitar comes with a Black Hard Shell 640 Molded Martin case and all the original Martin papers and goodies. The guitar is spotless and just like new and in unplayed condition with no wear at all anywhere on it or the case.
