A GIBSON ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC WONDER !!!! If you’ve been searching for a GIBSON ACOUSTIC in beautiful condition, one that hasn’t been in bars, abused in any way … you have come to the right place. This small body acoustic wonder sounds great right out of the box or plugged into an amplifier with its Fishman Aura Pro electronics for great tone. This is a 2008 model Gibson CJ-165 acoustic with premium rosewood back and sides. It is smaller than its famous cousin, the SJ-200, but has the same body shape. THESE GUITARS ARE NO LONGER MADE, AND THIS ONE IS VIRTUALLY UNPLAYED. And in my opinion, this guitar is still one of Gibson’s best kept secrets. This CJ-165 “sounds” and “feels” like the perfect guitar should … it has the pure, powerful, Gibson tone projecting from the scalloped bracing which gives it HUGE tone—just like the larger SJ-200. But this guitar’s smaller body won’t you’re your arm out, and its 24 ¾ scale neck feels like it was made for your hands. It is smooth and effortless to play, and the mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays are classy and add to this guitar’s beauty. It comes with original hard shell case. This guitar has been kept in its case most of the time I’ve owned it. It has been “babied.” It is as fresh as the day it left the factory in Boseman, Montana. It comes complete with its Gibson Gold Warranty card, ready to fill out and return.
